A Letter From Kim Beckett
My name is Kim Beckett, and this story begins with my father, Raymond Kinsinger.
He was a father, a grandfather, and the kind of man who showed up for everyone else his whole life. Steady, dependable, and full of quiet wisdom — he was the backbone of our family, always putting others before himself. Like many daughters, I believed he was invincible. When his health began to decline, I trusted the hospital system to care for him the way he had always cared for us.
But when he was admitted to the hospital, things quickly spiraled. I wasn’t there. I lived hours away, and by the time I got the call, decisions had already been made. Prescriptions were changed without oversight. His care was inconsistent. Small signs of distress went unnoticed. No one caught the mistakes. No one stepped in. And no one was there to advocate for my father — to question, to slow things down, to speak up.
By the time I arrived, it was too late. I will carry that heartbreak with me forever.
In the days and months after losing him, I couldn’t stop thinking: What if someone had been there? What if a trained, compassionate professional had stepped in the moment he was admitted — someone to watch, listen, and advocate for the care he truly needed?
That question became the foundation of InstaAdvocate.
I started this company because I never want another family to go through what mine did. For less than $170/month, InstaAdvocate provides immediate support when it matters most. If you or your loved one is admitted to the hospital, a standby nurse will be dispatched immediately — not days later, not after the damage is done. They will monitor medications, communicate with doctors, ask hard questions, and make sure your voice is heard even when you can’t speak for yourself.
We also offer trusted referrals and doctor recommendations, so our clients always have someone to turn to before a crisis begins.
This isn’t just a business. It’s a promise. A promise that no one should have to face the healthcare system alone. A promise that your loved one will be seen, protected, and cared for with the dignity they deserve.
I created InstaAdvocate in honor of my father. For Raymond. For your family. And for every person who needs someone in their corner when it matters most.
